Marci Calabretta Cancio-Bello is the author of the chapbook Last Train to the Midnight Market (Finishing Line Press, 2013) and full-length collection Hour of the Ox(University of Pittsburgh, 2016), winner of the 2015 AWP Donald Hall Prize for Poetry and the 2016 Florida Book Award bronze medal for poetry. Born in South Korea, she grew up as a transracial adoptee in Ithaca, New York. She holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Florida International University, and has received poetry fellowships from Kundiman, the Knight Foundation, and the American Literary Translators Association. Her work has appeared in Best New Poets, Best Small Fictions, The New York TimesThe Sun Magazine, and more.
