Abigail Phillips
Abigail Phillips received her Ph.D. in Information Studies on April 30, 2016 from the School of Information at Florida State University. Additionally, she previously graduated with her MLIS and Specialist degrees from the School of Information at Florida State University. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and History from the University of Georgia. Prior to entering the doctoral program, Dr. Phillips worked as a public librarian in a small, rural library system in Southwest Georgia. She is an active member of the American Library Association and serves as the 2015-2016 Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) Board Fellow, 2015-2018 LRRT Member-at-Large, and works on several ALA committees in YALSA and NMRT.
