Before becoming a professional technical writer, Kathleen served as a high school writing/literature/AP Rhetoric and Composition instructor and college English professor; She is an expert in writing theory and practice. Kathleen has written/published professionally in the sciences (emerging technology/Artificial Intelligence/cognitive development/other research-related topics), in the field of education and training, and as an expert in literary analysis. She is also a poet, and had one of her works selected as a finalist by the Florida Today (in a poetry contest). Kathleen is a fan of Florida history, and worked as a Reference Librarian at the Melbourne Beach library, where she explored their extensive Florida history collection.
