Mary Jane Ryals, Poet Laureate of the Big Bend of Florida, won the Yellow Jacket Press Chapbook Contest for Music in Arabic. She’s published four other chapbooks: La Vida, Bathed in Blue, and with Lynne Knight, Poesia and Wonderland 2020. She also published full length, The Moving Waters. She won a Florida Book Award for the novel Cookie & Me. She’s also published short story collection, A Messy Job, and a mystery novel, Cutting Loose in Paradise. She’s a faculty member of Florida State University’s International Programs.
