Jennifer Pratt, Executive Director of the Southeast Florida Library and Information Network (SEFLIN) was raised on John D. McDonald novels and Southern Gothic Fiction. She grew up in Bradenton, FL, received her BS in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida, and her MLIS from the University of South Florida. Jennifer’s library career began at the Haywood County Public Library in Waynesville, NC where she learned to love her adopted state’s wonderful literary tradition of story as place. She served as the Director of the library until 2007 when she and her family moved to Raleigh, NC where she led the Library Development Section at the State Library of NC. She is happy to be back in Florida supporting libraries through her work at SEFLIN and back reading Florida Fiction.
